After a training of 14 days, field work has been started on 3rd July, 2011. 7250 clusters (PSU’s) will be covered throughout the Punjab, 3488 clusters form urban and 3762 clusters from rural areas. 102048 households will be interviewed and data on socio-economic indicators will be collected to provide the current development situation in Punjab. This data will be useful for policy planning and evidence based decision making. Chief Economist P&D Board and Shamim Rafique Director General will supervise all stages of the survey.
