Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS)

MICS was developed after the World Summit for Children Declaration (1990), for the regular and timely collection, analysis and publication of data required for monitoring social indicators specially related to the well being of women and children. Various international organizations especially UNICEF, helped in the preparation of MICS methodology, which was then successfully applied in more than 100 countries.
